One of four mock project briefs set by Inkygoodness Collective, as part of their Make Your Mark 10-week programme for artists and illustrators.
Challenging industry norms, COCO Chocolatier began the making of chocolate at origin before passionately transforming it in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a result, more wealth remains within developing economies. COCO is a canvas for artists and artisans alike: those who dare to innovate, inspire and challenge.

This was meant to have a quick turnaround. I began my process by looking at the existing designs, and to see how I could add to the collection in a unique way. I loved thinking about these as snapshots of the individual artists' work, recorded in time with these chocolate bar wrappers.
At this point in the Inkygoodness programme, I was beginning to gravitate towards certain styles and treatments, but also rediscovering my interest in calligraphy and hand-rendered letterforms. It was an easy choice!
