My first home is the Philippines. It holds a special place in my heart, and each time I return to my family, there is something wonderful to keep as a memory. Here is a portrait I did of my yaya in the garden, with a parol hanging above the lanai. She is always the most excited for the holidays, putting up decorations as soon as September 1st hits to mark the upcoming Christmas season.
