Popular kids magazine Anorak's summer edition was all about plants! We were asked to create a double page spread of a story, non-fiction piece, game, or activity that celebrated the theme:
They are magicians as they transform light into energy. Some eat insects, others are just happy with water and good soil. The plant world is full of artists, there are so many incredible varieties of plants, all weird and wonderful.
I chose to write this short poem about where we can find plants in unexpected places.
