This was inspired by my friend Fiona's explorations into the world of natural dyes, bundle dyeing, and eco-printing. I have met some amazing indie dyers and fibre artists over the years, and what people are able to do with natural materials and colours is so amazing!
Below is the first sketch I did in charcoal pencil, along with some photos of Fiona's actual process as she dyed a cute neckscarf in her back yard.
