Telebabad

"Telebabad" was a term back in the day... it's a Filipino term for when you spend so long on the telephone. "Babad" means "to soak" like marinate in gossip. My mom and my sisters would spend HOURS with a phone stuck next to their ears.

I guess younger folks mostly text now... but I still have some telebabad friends sometimes.
